Update
Sorry I haven’t updated in the last couple of days, it’s been stressful to say the least. The pain doesn’t seem to be getting any better, in fact at times I think it’s getting worse, first thing in the morning is the absolute worst part of the day and I dread it. Getting to sleep at night has been no picnic either, once i find a comfortable position, I get sore and have to find another one all over again. I am usually pretty good about dealing with pain, but this is really getting to me. I don’t like things to hold me back or make me stop functions of my day-to-day life, but I will admit I have been having a few difficulties keeping up. I seem to be walking slower than normal with an obvious limp, I feel like I can’t stand up straight… when will this all end?
I really thought this year was going to bring a breakthrough that we have so badly needed, I have done everything in my powers to keep my head up and keep positive, but man if anything else happens I feel like I’m going to snap. I wanna just scream, stay off my back for a while! Let me get at least caught up with pack, I don’t have to be in front of it. I know, just needed to rant.
I am so tired, my body hurts, and there’s no real good news on the job front, my mortgage is due in less than a week and I haven’t received my unemployment check yet, yes I am scared.
We did find the girl that hit me, and the police have ammended the report so I will know what all is being done on Wednesday when I can get a copy of the report… wonder how much they are going to charge me for that?
Well, I hope to be more talk-a-tive later, but for now I think I am going to just sign off and say, i need a nap. Enjoy the superbowl everyone! More later

So I am hurting really really bad today – my lower back and my hip, but my neck right between my should blades and the upper portion of my back as well are so stiff and my left arm at the shoulder is going in and out of numbness – the meds the hospital gave me are doing absolutely nothing 
I am going to see my regular doctor today to see if they can do anything else for me.
Otherwise, I have had a pretty productive morning, I called my insurance company first thing to report last nights events, I have to say that after my conversation with Liberty Mutual I have reaffirmed the reason they are and always will be my auto insurance carrier! We went through the claims process and I described the events and what happened and the hospital and how I am feeling now (blah blah blah) and also told her what the Officers told my fiance about never solving the case ( I still don’t know how they wouldn’t) and that I have the tag number and make and model and color of the vehicle – so she LOOKED up the information !!! I now have the owner’s information; Name/Address/ etc. as well as the make model specifics with the VIN number of her car… I have called the PD to advise them of this information and I am now just waiting to hear back from them about what they are going to do… I am not a spiteful person, BUT in this situation I want this woman arrested and charged with HIT AND RUN, all she had to do was stop and see if I was OK and exchange insurance information, is it really that hard to do?
I have decided, however, to be fair and give this woman the opportunity to come forward of her own WILL and advise me of the insurance information/specifics that I need to process a claim on her insurance. I swear I am a nice person and I would just like to take care of this as quickly as possible. I am unemployed at the moment and have no health insurance, please do the right thing! If you contact me on your own accord I won’t press charges, I just want the hospital/repair bills taken care of.
UPDATE!!!
I just spoke with an Officer at the MBoro PD (city) and he has taken the information and made additional notes on the claim. It will be completely up to the detective that is assigned to follow up further, however, if I do my own investigative research and find the car, and the driver and then call the PD out to her place I can have a follow up report completed and she will be cited/fined/arrested whatever they do to hit and run drivers (not sure).
I am going to my regular doctors today at 1pm hopefully they will give me something to help with the pain.
